Website Terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Hutte Builder LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("Hütte Builder," "we," "us"), for using huttebuilder.com and the Hütte Builder portal (the "Service"). By creating an account or starting a plan, you agree to them.
1. The Service
Hütte Builder is project-tracking software. We don't provide construction, legal, accounting, insurance, architectural or engineering services. We don't guarantee any project's cost, schedule, code compliance or workmanship.
2. Your account
You must be 18 or older and give accurate information. Keep your password private; you're responsible for activity on your account.
3. Plans, free trial and automatic renewal
Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your plan starts automatically and your payment method is charged the plan price on day 8.
Monthly plans renew every month, and yearly plans renew every year, at the then-current price, until you cancel.
We'll email you before a trial converts to paid and 15 to 30 days before each yearly renewal. If we change a plan's price, we'll tell you at least 30 days before your next renewal at the new price.
Prices are in US dollars and don't include sales tax, which may be added where required.
4. Cancelling
You can cancel at any time from My Subscriptions in your account, or by emailing info@huttebuilder.com. Cancelling stops future charges. You keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for.
5. Refunds
Payments aren't refundable, including partial months and partial years, except where the law requires otherwise. Cancel during the free trial and you won't be charged.
6. Your content
You own the information and files you put into Hütte Builder. You give us permission to store, process and display them only to provide the Service to you, including sending uploaded documents to our AI provider to read them (see our Privacy Policy). You're responsible for having the right to upload what you upload.
7. Automatic reading and calculations
Figures read from receipts, bills, plans and certificates, and totals the Service calculates, can contain errors. Check them before relying on them for payments, budgets, estimates or taxes.
8. Vendor insurance checks
The vendor check compares certificates you upload against minimums you set. It's a record-keeping aid. It doesn't confirm coverage with an insurer, read policy endorsements, or give insurance or legal advice. You decide whether and when to pay a vendor, and you're responsible for that decision.
9. Acceptable use
Don't misuse the Service: no illegal content, no attempts to reach other users' data, no overloading or reverse-engineering the Service, and no reselling it without our written permission.
10. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service available but can't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may improve or change features. If we remove a feature your plan depends on, you may cancel and we'll refund the unused part of a prepaid yearly plan.
11. Ending your account
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or doesn't pay. After a plan ends, your data is kept and deleted as described in the Privacy Policy. You can ask for a copy or deletion at any time.
12. Disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.
13. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, and disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Pinellas County, Florida, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.
15. Changes to these terms
We'll email you at least 30 days before a material change takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new terms.
