Software, not services. Hütte Builder, operated by Hutte Builder LLC, is project-tracking software. We don't provide construction, legal, accounting, tax, insurance, architectural or engineering services. We don't guarantee any project's cost, schedule, code compliance or workmanship.
Numbers are only as good as what goes in. Budgets, totals, takeoff measurements and amounts read from receipts and bills are calculated from what you enter and upload. Measurements depend on the scale you set on each plan sheet. Check figures before relying on them for bids, payments or taxes.
Vendor insurance checks are a record-keeping aid. Hütte Builder compares the certificates you upload with the minimums you set: whether a certificate is on file, its dates, the general liability limit per occurrence, and current workers' compensation or exemption. It doesn't confirm a policy is in force with the insurer; read endorsements such as additional insured, waiver of subrogation or primary and non-contributory; check auto, umbrella, aggregate or employer's liability limits; or tell you what insurance your contracts or your state require.
A certificate of insurance is information only and gives the holder no rights by itself. Ask the vendor's insurance agent to confirm coverage and send the endorsement pages. In Florida, you can look up workers' compensation coverage and exemptions on the Division of Workers' Compensation website (myfloridacfo.com).
You make the decisions. Whether to pay a vendor, approve a change order or sign a contract is your call. When you pay a bill that's on hold, Hütte Builder records your reason, but it doesn't make the decision safe.
